إتحاف القاري بالتعليقات على شرح السنة لإمام البربهاري Ithaaf Al-Qari Ta’leeqat Sharh Sunnah li-Imam al-Barbaharee

Imam Al-Barbahaaree (d. 329H) | Expl: Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan

The author of this book is Hasan ibn Ali ibn Khalaf Al-Barbaharee.  He was from amongst the great Hanbali scholars, and acquired knowledge from the students of Imam Ahmad.

The name of the book is ‘Sharh As-Sunnah.’ It is an explanation of the established sunnah, in matters of creed, worship, Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), and manners. All of these are included in the general sense of the term sunnah.

The book is extremely beneficial. It is one of the books of the earliest Salaf – those who lived in the same period alongside the great Imams, acquired knowledge from them and reported their pure ‘aqidah (creed)
